Carl Benson Mcneal

Carl Benson McNeal, 84, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024, at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, July 22, 2024, at Parkway cemetery in Kosciusko. Jordan Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Carl was born October 4, 1939, in McAdams to Jewel and Mable McNeal. He was a member of the McAdams Baptist Church, retired truck driver for Yellow Freight Company, and in his spare time loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Carl was a kind, loving, generous man who could tell a few jokes and made every one laugh. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Linda Jo McNeal; daughter, Chris (Jamie) Pettit of Kosciusko, MS; son, Todd (Cathy) McNeal of Kosciusko, MS; brothers, Ted McNeal of Kosciusko, MS and Curry McNeal of Jackson, MS; sister, Karen Barber of Sallis, MS; grandchildren, Morgan Adcock, Megan Weeks, Gaige Pettit; great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Stella, Trevor, Caroline, Kate, Grayson, Hazel, Seth, Luke, Gage, and Rowdy. Many nieces and nephews also survive Carl.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Jewel McNeal and Mabel Knight McNeal; two sisters, Linda Lee and Jewel Dean Morgan.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
