S.W.S.C Bobby Gene Cummins, 78, died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Doty Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. in the church with military honor burial to follow in Doty Springs Cemetery. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Rev. Shannon Pennington will officiate. He served in the United States Army and the United States Navy for 30 years. He was a Navy Senior Chief Steel Worker (S.W.S.C.). He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Elaine Williams Cummins of Kosciusko; children, Phillip Boyd "Beau" Cummins (Christine) of Van Cleave, MS, Trudy Marie Cummins ( Richard Edwards) of Tampa, FL, Burton Cummins of Pontotoc, MS, James Westbrook (Tammie) of Ethel, MS, Royce E. Westbrook of Kosciusko, Deborah Jean Cummins Black (Josh) of Ethel, and Logan Cummins of Wilmur, AL; grandchildren, Lucy Brummett (Tim), Steven Ladika, Tabitha House (Matthew), Bobby Brewer, Michael S. Hensley, Darren K. Brewer, Mercedes J. Brewer, Kamrie Upchurch, Caroline Black, Brianna Westbrook, Samantha Westbrook, Aliyah Westbrook, Chloe Westbrook, and Eliana Westbrook; great-grandchildren, Kylen Brummett, Noah House, and Marissa Brook Brewer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Niles and Trudy Myers Cummins; Carrie Brooks, Orville Cummins, Vida Spencer, Velma Cummins, Nicky Reska, Rosie Ladika; and brother, Niles Lee Cummins.
