Bobby D. Black

Bobby D. Black, 86, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at his home. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, February 23 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko and from 1-2 p.m. Friday at Edgefield Baptist Church. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday, February 24 at the church with burial in Edgefield Cemetery. Rev. Tony Black and Rev. Walter Hines will officiate. He was a member of Edgefield Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle B. Black of McCool; daughter, Vickie Black Hodges of McCool; two grandchildren, Brandon Hodges of McCool and Kayla May of McCool; great-grandchildren, Kambrie Rae Hodges, Brayden Hodges, Kaydon Hodges, Brylee May, Taylon May, and Kyler May; sister, Sarah (Wilbur) Brunt of McCool; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Montgomery and Sarah Anna Myers Black; and several brothers and sisters. Pallbearers are Joe Simpson, Rob Simmons, Ben Wilkerson, Harry Norris, Joe Hunt and Dale Hunt.
