Bobbie Steed Ray, 81, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center of Grenada. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Monday, December 19, 2022 at Zama Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the church. Interment will be in the Doty Springs Cemetery. Rev. Eddie Hollowell will officiate the service. Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Ray was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church in Duck Hill, MS. She was retired from Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital where she worked as a Ward Clerk/Nurse Assistant.

She was preceded in death by her three sons, Bruce Ray, Stevey Ray, and Stanley Ray; parents, James Henry and Mary Ford Steed.

Bobbie is survived by four grandchildren, Madison Bennett, McKenzie (Wesley) Mooney, Hannah Ray, and Connie (Will) Stammerjohan; three great-grandchildren; Hadden Bennett, Holden Bennett, and Callie Mooney; one brother, Benny Steed of Houston, TX and a number of cousins.
