Billye Ruth Barnes Jennings

Billye Ruth Barnes Jennings, 86, of Chicago, Illinois past this life Sunday, June 28 at her residence. Mrs. Jennings was preceded in death by her parents, William Richard Barnes and Beatrice Ratcliff and her husband, Leeander "Lee" W. Jennings. She was an Accountant, Past President of Women's Athletic Club of Chicago, and Board of Trustees – Juvenile Protective Association, Honorary Member President's Council of Museum of Science and Industry, Women's Board of Northwestern University, Honorary Life Trustee at the Admiral and former Trustee at Fourth Presbyterian Church where she was also a member. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 6th at Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko, MS. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her son, Darrell Lee Jennings of Doylestown, PA; grandsons Christopher Scott Jennings of San Diego, CA. and Andrew Jennings of Ft. Worth, TX. In lieu of flowers, the Jennings family requests donations to the Lee Jennings memorial fund of the Kosciusko Foundation for Excellence in Education PO Box 1184, Kosciusko, MS 39090-1184.
