Billy Richardson

On June 19, 2023, Billy Earl Richardson, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away at the age of 85. He was born on May 25, 1938. He married Dora Lynn Richardson in July 1955 and entered the U.S. Navy the same year. They had four children Mike, Ronnie, Keith, and Terry. Billy had a passion for the U.S. Navy, his country, and his family. He had a quick wit and a mischievous spirit. He loved telling stories about growing up in rural Mississippi and fighting in bars in faraway seaports.
He was preceded in death by his parents, E. B. and Connie Richardson; his first wife of sixty years, Dora Lynn Mills Lee Richardson; and his second son, Ronnie.
He is survived by his wife, Tommie; his sons Mike, Keith, and Terry; his brother Charles; 8 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Parkway Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to Parkway Cemetery.
