Billy Frank Pearson, Sr.

Billy Frank Pearson, Sr., 67, of Kosciusko, MS, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025, at his home. Visitation is 12:00 p.m.-1:45 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2025. Graveside services are at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2025, at Parkway Cemetery, Kosciusko, MS. Dr. Todd Plunkett will officiate the services.

Mr. Pearson was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Frank Pearson and Maudie Hodges Pearson, and brother, Robert Pearson.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Rhodes Pearson; sons, Billy Frank Pearson, Jr. of Kosciusko, MS, Norwood (Stephanie) Pearson of Brockton, MA; daughters, Krista Vivian of Odessa, TX, and Amber Leigh (Brian) Downing of Winthrop, ME; sisters, Jo Ann (David) Plunkett of Water Valley, MS, and sister-in-law, Barbara Pearson of Preston, MS; grandchildren, Mason Macias, Jadie Vasquez, Giddeon Vivian, Mya Vivian, Luna Pearson, River Pearson, Caydenn Downing, and Marshall Downing.

Mr. Pearson was a member of the Williamsville Baptist Church. The Family especially appreciates the staff of Halcyon Hospice, who helped take care of Billy in the final months of his life. Alex and Kay quickly became extended family members, kissing him goodbye after each visit and saying, “I Love You, Paw.” Your compassion and dedication are incredible, Thank You. A special “Thank You” to Susan Mixon, who was always there for our family. She is truly the “hands and feet’ of Jesus.

Serving as pallbearers are Paul Woods, Larry Pearson, Danny Plunkett, Caleb Plunkett, David Plunkett, and Larry Pearson, Sr. Honorary pallbearers are Gordon Baggett, and Kelly Flemming.
