Betty Sue Gregory Brown

Betty Sue Gregory Brown, 86, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Monday at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday, July 2 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Don Ray will officiate. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She held a Specialist Degree in Education, as well as, several other educational degrees. She instructed all ages throughout her 42 year career at both Zama and Greenlee Schools. She was a member of the D.A. R. and was loved by many. Survivors include her daughter, Jane (Bryan) Myers of the Zama Community; grandchildren, Abigail Myers and Emmalee Myers; sister, Stella Jane Shumaker; niece, Nina Sue Burcham of Tupelo; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Hadley and Stella Annis Adams Gregory; siblings, Billy Gregory, Adams Gregory, Edward Gregory, Annis Stout, and Fred Gregory; and brother-in-law, Roy Shumaker.
