Betty Power Flynn, 73, of Oakland, died Friday, October 24, 2014 at her home. Graveside services are 3 p.m. Monday, October 27, in the Kosciusko City Cemetery, Kosciusko, MS. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Chaplain James Arnold will officiate. Ms. Flynn was born August 3, 1941, in Attala County. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse. Those surviving her are her children, Deborah Rush, of Oakland, TN, Tracy Clark, of Albuquerque, NM, Trisha DeHaan, of Pace, FL, Darby Heitman, of Hernando, MS, and Chris Flynn, of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Chad, Ashley, Alex, David, Matthew, Chris, Kaila, Kasey, Dalton, Mackenzie, Riley, and Reyna; her step-father, Johnny Dean, of Kosciusko; and cousins, Becky Jo Nelson and Sunny Beatley. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Dean; and a son, Ned Flynn. Pallbearers are Chris Flynn, Chad Rush, Riley Flynn, Mark Heitman, Tate Rush, Sunny Beatley, and Dalton Heitman.
