Bertha Mae Bigby

Bertha Mae Bigby, 89, of Kosciusko, died Friday, February 13, 2015, at the Attala County Nursing Center. Visitation is this evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are Monday, February 16 at 11 a.m. in the Williamsville Assembly of God. Burial will be in Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Walter Robbins will officiate. Mrs. Bigby was born October 19, 1925, in Attala County to Everette and Effie Lowery. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Williamsville Assembly of God. She is survived by her children, Bobbie (Don) Hofmister, Doug (Frances) Bigby, both of Kosciusko, and Barbara (Kermit Lamar) Moore, of Auburn, NE; daughter-in-law, Melinda Bigby, of Kosciusko; grandchildren, Brent Bigby, Evan Bigby, Richard Cain, Brad Hofmister, Shauna Rhodes, Alison Andrews, Maxey Smith, Taylor Alber, and Jeremy Loden; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hilda McClure, of Mayfield, KY. Those preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Lewis A. Bigby; two sons, Lewis Bigby, Jr. and Doyce Bigby; five brothers; and one sister. Memorials may be sent the Williamsville Assembly of God Building Fund.
