Ann Moore

Ann Moore, 75, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at her residence in Kosciusko. Visitation is from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2022, at the Kosciusko First Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2022, at the Kosciusko First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Barry C. Corbett and Rev. Luke Gardner will officiate. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ann was born November 23, 1946, in Kosciusko to John and Alma L. Peavy. She was a devoted member of the Kosciusko First Baptist Church where she served on the bereavement committee. She enjoyed contributing to the St. Jude children’s hospital. She was a homemaker, and a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother to her family.

She is survived by her husband, Bud Moore of Kosciusko, MS; one son, Ronald Moore, and his wife, Tammy of Kosciusko, MS; one daughter, Mechelle Smith, and her husband, Win of Kosciusko, MS; two brothers, Johnny Peavy, and his wife, Dorothy of Kosciusko, MS, and Larry Peavy, and his wife, Delisa of Columbus, MS; five grandchildren, Trevor Moore, Edwin Smith, Sam Smith, Meredith Moore, and Olivia Smith. She was also survived by one great grandchild, Candler Moore and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Joe Peavy.
