Allen Wayne Sanders, 60, of Kosciusko, Mississippi, passed away June 6, 2023, at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 9, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 9, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Barrentine will officiate the services.
Allen Wayne was born on January 19, 1963, in Sledge, Mississippi. He attended Harvest Point Baptist Church and was a retired Road Foreman with Atwood Fence Company for 30 years.
Allen Wayne is survived by his wife, Lisa Blount Sanders of Kosciusko, Mississippi; one son, Michael (Jessica) Sanders of Kosciusko, Mississippi; one daughter, Kayla (Clint) Allen of Kosciusko, Mississippi; brothers, Monroe Sanders of Pontotoc, Mississippi, Harvey Sanders of Houston, Mississippi, and James McPherson of Clarksdale, Mississippi; sisters, Nancy Hood of Joiner, Arkansas, and Pam Suarez of Cleveland, Mississippi; grandchildren, Knox Allen, Haylee Sanders, and Bentley Sanders; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his adoptive parents, James and Ruth McPherson, and biological parents, Monroe and Margie Sanders.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
