A.C. "Coolidge" Cummins

February 4, 1923 — February 25, 2016

Mr. A.C. "Coolidge" Cummins 93, of Ethel passed away Thursday, 2/25/2016 at Vaiden Community Living Center in Vaiden, MS. Services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Doty Springs Baptist Church, where he was a member and burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Don Ray and Rev. Tony Fortenberry will officiate. Mr. Cummins was an Automobile Salesman for thirty-two and a half years. Survivors include his wife Dolores, Daughters: Ruth Nolene Roberts and her husband Walter of Sidon, and Johnnie Faye Burns and her husband Sammy of Jackson,TN, One Son: Aaron C. Cummins, Jr. and his wife Ann of Brandon, MS. Step-Sons: Jim Sharpe of Byhalia, MS. and Tom Sharpe of Arkansas. Seven grandchildren: Jim Campbell of Greenwood, Barry Campbell of Grenada, William Cummins of Brandon, Stephanie Alexander and her husband Craig of Flowood, Kim Dicken, Brian Burns of Kentucky and Russell Burns of Memphis, TN; ten great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. One brother: J.J. Cummins of Forest, MS. and two sisters: Nadine Hughes of Indianola and Mildred Magnum of Rolling Fork, MS. Mr. Cummins was preceded in death by a wife Margie Cummins and his parents James Selmer Cummins and Ruby Lee Ellis. Memorials may be made to French Camp Academy One Fine Place French Camp, MS 39745
