Abe Burchfield

Jimmie Mack "Abe" Burchfield, 74, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the Choctaw Regional Nursing Home in Ackerman. Abe was born in Zama on October 30, 1945 to Archie and Shirley Shumaker Burchfield. A memorial service is planned for a later date. Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko is handling arrangements. Abe served his country in the National Guard and was a truckdriver for Heartland Catfish for many years. He took up time and loved his grandkids, they were his world. He is survived by his son, Matt Burchfield and his wife Sarah of French Camp, MS; four brothers, Bo Burchfield of Kosciusko, Randy Burchfield of Kosciusko, J.T. Burchfield of Jacksonville, FL.,Terry Lynn Burchfield of Weir, MS; one sister, Johnnie Brock of Weir, MS; two grandchildren, Adilyn Burchfield and Carter Burchfield. He was also survived by a host of neices and nephews.
