Mamie Rebecca Carpenter Pearson McVille Community of Leake County, MS Mrs. Pearson age 80, passed away Friday September 14, 2018 at her residence in Leake County. She was a retired Leake County Circuit Clerk after 20 years of service and a former Leake County Justice Court Judge for 12 years. She was also a member of Wake Forest United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 17 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel in Kosciusko, following with burial in Wake Forest Cemetery in Thomastown with Rev. Greg Fortenberry officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, September 16th from 5:00 P.M until 8: 00 P.M. at Jordan Funeral Home. Survivors include her Son: Jerry Pearson and his wife Linda, Grandson: Justin and wife Brandi Pearson, Great-Granddaughter: Harley Rebekah Pearson. Sister: Kathy and her husband Johnny Hall, Brothers: Dan Carpenter and his wife Siggi, Earl Carpenter and his wife Brenda, Chester Carpenter and his wife Linda and a number of Nephews and Nieces. Preceded in death by her husband Frank Harlis Pearson, parents: Wilson and Mildred Allen Carpenter and a Sister: Barbara Harmon and a Brother Wayne Carpenter. Active Pallbearers: Wade Carpenter, Brian Carpenter, Jason Carpenter, Randy Triplett, Michael Ellington, David Shelley Honorary Pallbearers: Paul Merchant, Jr., Butch Pinkard, John H. Munn, David Adcock Memorials may be made to the Wake Forest Pentecostal Church building fund or Cemetery fund.
