Mitchell Bradford "Brad" Summerhill

Mitchell Bradford “Brad” Summerhill, 79, of Vaiden, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022, at the Martha Jo Leslie State Veterans Home in Kosciusko. Visitation is Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Winona Garden of Memory with military honors. Rev. Donald Self will officiate the service.
Brad was a member of the Vaiden Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and served in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the American Legion Post number 52 from Winona, and a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by one son, Mike (DeeDee) Summerhill of Madison, MS; one daughter, Anastasia Linn; one brother, Jerry Summerhill of Vaiden, MS; one sister, Brenda Teasley of Byram, MS; grandchildren, Austin Summerhill, Josh Summerhill, Nicole Bowen, Morgan Brown, and three other grandchildren; and five step-greatgrandchildren.
Mr. Summerhill is preceded in death by his parents, George Truett “G.T.” and Nannie Elizabeth Bell Summerhill; one son, Curtis Dendy, and one stepdaughter, Tammy Brown.
Memorials may be made to the Vaiden Baptist Church.
