Garnell Hambrick

Garnell Hodges Hambrick, 92, died Friday, January 17, 2015 in her home. Visitation is from 10-12 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Graveside services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the Old Plank Cemetery near Vaiden, MS. Rev. Ron Thomas will officiate. She was born in Attala County, MS. She was one of eleven children. She was married in 1943 and was married to John Hambrick, Jr. for 69 years. They moved to New York City, NY in 1955. She is survived by son, John Hambrick, III; daughter, Ginger Nell Dinor; grandchildren, Wesley Hambrick, Evan Hambrick, and Nicole Fasolino-Scavone; and one great-granddaughter, Francesca Scavone. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hambrick, Jr. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Foundation of America.
