Doris Lavoy Grantham, 76, passed away on July 20, 2023, at his residence in Hesterville, MS. Visitation is 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral service is at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Mike Barrentine is officiating.
Lavoy was known to his family and friends as Jackie Leroy, Spanky, Dad, and Papaw, he was an avid outdoorsman. Throughout his life, he had a passion for fishing. He was a retired truck driver/pipeliner.
Lavoy is survived by his daughter, Amie Rawson (Mike), granddaughter, Casey Dabbs, grandson, Clay Rawson, sister, Janice Mann (Travis), brother Scotty Grantham (Rhonda), and great-grands, Marleigh and Issie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Ramage Grantham, parents Grover and Vera Grantham, daughter Michelle Grantham.
