Mrs. Anne Wright, 86, of Kosciusko passed away February 22, 2022 at Baptist Medical Center-Attala. Visitation is 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral Service is at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Parkway Cemetery. Ministering will be Rev. Barry C. Corbett and Rev. Mark Parnell. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Wright was a member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School at one point. She was retired as a secretary for First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Anne Wright was survived by her husband Dan Wright of Kosciusko, MS; step-son Dan Wright, Jr. of Meridian, MS; step-daughter Dianne (Mel) Morris of Gastonia, NC; step-grandchildren Trina (James) McCool and Christopher Puckett; step-great-grandchild Meliah Jade Puckett; Kathleen Milano, Ginny (John) Hand, Joe Hutton Milano, and numerous other cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Ira Waldrop and Margaret “Maggie” Hutton Waldrop; a sister; and a daughter-in-law Susan Covert Wright. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Alexander, Les Clark, Joe Hutton Milano, John Hand, Jimmy Wright,Jr., and Chris Puckett. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be James McCool.
